Sushi Sushi - The Glen

Sushi Sushi is an Australian takeaway sushi brand with a broad network of inline stores, standalone locations, and kiosks. The design brief for the stores was centred around the operational flow, the high volume of customer traffic and food displays being the focal point of the store. Back-of-house areas were carefully planned to align with staff workflows and operational best practices. As part of my learning journey at Sushi Sushi, I often communicated with store teams and managers directly for feedback and learned their processes first hand by working in-store with them.

At the time, the brand guidelines imposed strict limitations on the store aesthetic, specifying the use of red, black, and timber finishes only. While adhering to the established brand palette, I introduced a layered application of textures to create a more contemporary and refined in-store experience.
